The 6th, 7th and 8th grade students had their first soccer jamboree at Redwood Middle School on October 9th. The jamboree kicked off at 3 p.m. and ended around 5 p.m.

The games were very interesting. Two games went on at the same time and the first two games were against Silverado Middle School. The last two games were against Redwood Middle School. On field B, during the first game, Harvest scored two goals and during the second game a penalty kick.

Meanwhile on field A, in the second game Julio Alonzo and another player from Redwood Middle School got a yellow card. Students from Harvest Middle School were cheering their friends and the soccer coaches, too, Becca and Johnny.

We asked Harvest player Gisselle Gonzales how she felt after the games were over and she said, “The games were pretty good, we all tried our best.” Harvest Middle School played well and the whole school is proud of them! GOOOOOOO HAWKS!
