It’s time for wrestling at Harvest Middle School. Our wrestling head coach is Mr. Franco along with Mrs. Franco. Mr. Franco is also a high school wrestling coach at Napa High School. Mrs. Franco is a physical education teacher here at Harvest Middle School.

There are about 13 students participating this year. They have dedicated every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3:15 to 5:00 to getting their moves and tactics perfected and ready for the tournament which will be held at Justin-Siena.

Hector Diaz who is one of the wrestlers said, ” I tried out because I like to take people down and it teaches you new moves.” Diaz also stated, ” I tried out because I knew I was going to be able to take people down.”
