Another Person Struck by Car Near Harvest

Approximately two weeks ago a women on a bicycle was hit by a car at 7:50 am right before school started at HMS. The women was turning left onto Foster Road when she was hit by the car on September 3rd. The women suffered from a broken leg and a laceration on her forehead.

A similar accident happened last year when a crossing guard was hit at HMS right before school.

According to the local paper the Napa Register, City firefighter and paramedic, Chet Morrison, said the bicyclist was taken to the Queen of the Valley Medical Center. The car hit her at 35-40 mph and her helmet was split in half. The women was in stable condition in the medical center.

This goes to show that you should always look both ways when crossing the street, and when driving to look out for people!
