Jogathon 2013

7th grader Adrian Garcia hustles a lap during last Friday’s Leadership Jogathon.

On Friday, October 11, Mrs. Pridy’s Leadership class  participated in a Jogathon to raise money for the Samaritan Family Center in the City of Napa. The Samaritan Center is a shelter for homeless families.

The run took place during 8th period on the Harvest Middle School track. Diego Olvera, a 7th grader at Harvest, ran the most laps at 17.  He said, “I liked that we collected money for people who need it.”

Leadership was able to raise over $300 for the event, Mrs. Pridy said.
