Tyler Sash Dies

On September 15, 2015,  a former football player for the New York Giants, a safety, passed away. His name is Tyler Sash. The investigators still are trying to figure out  what was the cause of his death.

Sash went to the University of Iowa. While he was there he led the Hawkeyes to the NCAA championship. He also led the team record with most picks for a touchdown.

He was  drafted to the New York Giants as a strong safety and on that year the Giants went to  the Superbowl!!!.

Sash was found dead in his living room floor on the evening of September 8 in his hometown of Oskaloosa Iowa. Sash was a married father of two and has a dog.

His friend Mark Herzlich, who was also drafted by the New York Giants and he played middle linebacker. He said that he used to go his house when it was off-season, and he said that this off-season he noticed that sash was acting weird.

Sash tested positive for adder-all. Sash was the second string safety for the New York Giants and in his whole career he got 5 picks and 3 of those were returned for touchdowns.

Tyler has 2 siblings named Josh Sash and Megan Sash. His parents names are Barney Sash and Mike Sash. When Tyler was in the University in his career he had 13 interceptions and  5 shy of passing the school record with 25 tackles 1 forced fumbles and 0 interceptions.

He was named to the 2010 preseason lott trophy watch list, a trophy named in honor of former college and NFL hall of fame defensive back Ronnie Lott.
