DIY Christmas ornaments

Are you tired of having to buy expensive Christmas ornaments? Well we are so we put together a list of easy and cheap DIY Christmas ornaments.

  1.  CD reflective ornament: Take an old clear ornament and a CD, cut up the CD then glue it on  to the ornament. If you don’t want all of the ruff edges you can take a nail file and file down the CD shards so they fit the rounded ornaments.
  2. Ornament jar: Get an old vase or  jar and some cheap or old ornaments and put them in the vase/jar then BAM!!! instant Christmas cheer.
  3. Sparkle Pine Cones: Grab a pine cone of any size and glitter paint or glitter glue. All that you need to do is evenly distribute the glue or paint all of the pine cone scales.
  4. Minnie Ornament: Grab a black ornament and red paint and white paint. Paint the bottom half of the ornament red and then once the red paint dries, paint little white dots onto the red paint. Let it dry and you have an adorable Minnie Mouse ornament!
  5. Puzzle Reindeer: Get any puzzle pieces and make it so they connect so it becomes a head. Now, get 2 other pieces that connect with the puzzle pieces that are on the top. Glue a string on top to make this adorable reindeer an ornament!
  6. Peppermint Coaster: Get red and white paint and some blank coasters. then paint the top of the coaster like a peppermint then paint the rest  of the coaster like a peppermint.
  7. Popcorn and Cranberry Garland: Use a sewing needle and string and take some popcorn and cranberries and put the needle through them and on to the string.
  8. Penguin Light bulb Ornament:  First, get a light bulb and turn it upside down and attach a string to the top. Then, paint the light bulb all black. Let it dry and then paint a medium sized oval in white paint in the middle. Let that white paint dry then paint an orange triangle over the white oval and add two white dots above the orange triangle. Let it all dry and there you have it. An adorable penguin light bulb ornament.
