Leonardo DiCaprio finally wins an Oscar

Leonardo DiCaprio was one of the only A-Lister that hasn’t won a Oscar, not until Sunday night. He won an Oscar for his role as the lead actor in The Reverent. He has started in 26 movies and still hasn’t won an Oscar Sunday night, he has been nominated to win an Oscar five times. He has won 60+ awards and many more nominations. This win is his biggest so far, Leo has been a actor since 1988. He first stared in Roseanne, today he has stared in over 36 movies and about 5 shows.

In his speech he talks about global warming and he also said “Making ‘The Revenant’ was about man’s relationship to the natural world. A world that we collectively felt in 2015 as the hottest year in recorded history,” Leonardo DiCaprio said at the Awards. “Our production needed to move to the southern tip of this planet just to be able to find snow. Climate change is real, it is happening right now. It is the most urgent threat facing our entire species, and we need to work collectively together and stop procrastinating.” The Oscars were held in the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood and Highland Center in Hollywood. Hope to see Leonardo winning another Oscar next year.
