5 Reasons To Visit Disneyland On The Holidays

Here I are I believe 5 convincing reasons your family should take you to Disneyland for the holidays.

1 ) If  you have a family memberthat  is a fan of Frozen, you must bring him or her to Disneyland Resort stat. It makes sense the holidays are during the winter season–so treats, holiday gear, special features and the like are angled toward the wildly popular movie. Plus, it’s as close to Elsa and Anna a child can get in real lifeImage result for disney frozen

2) The 28-minute, nightly spectacular at Disney California Adventure Park adopts a different theme for the holidays. Olaf, everyone’s favorite snowman from Frozen, makes an appearance and tidbits from the wildly popular movie are woven in throughout. The show features a 9,000 square-foot projection screen that plays scenes from family-favorite Disney and Disney•Pixar animated and live-action movies as well as nearly 1,200 fountains that shoot water 200 feet into the air.Image result for world of color

3)Twice a day (3:00 p.m. and 5:45 p.m.), everyone’s favorite characters dress for the season and ride floats from “it’s a small world” to Main Street, U.S.A. The parade celebrates its 20th anniversary this year and is one of the longest-running parades at the Disneyland Resort. It features 16 floats and more than 100 performers, including 11 elves, 12 toy soldiers, 6 snowflake skaters, 4 roller skiers, 6 gingerbread cookies and 8 reindeer.

4) The Christmas tree on Main Street, U.S.A. alone boasts over 1800 ornaments. The street itself is home to nearly 79,000 ornaments, more than 2,000 feet of garland and nearly 10,000 lights deck the thoroughfare with holiday cheer. In addition, more than 7,400 feet of ribbon decorate Main Street, U.S.A.Image result for disneyland decoration

5)This festive celebration of Latino culture at Disney California Adventure Park returns for this holiday season. A section of Paradise Pier is decorated with papel picado in holiday colors and the Paradise Garden Grill has a huge outdoor patio for dining in So Cal  winter sunshine. Authentic dishes will be served such as pozole, mole and tacos, while characters don traditional attire.
